Talk of the Town

Restaurant Group Round Up for Charity

During the month of November, you can support OCSOPAL by having a fabulous dinner out.  Talk of the Town Restaurant Group was founded in 1974 by the father and son team of Charley and Ron Woodsby.

In 2017, Clark Woodsby, Executive Vice President, joined his father and grandfather to create a private charity called Talk of the Town Restaurant Group Foundation to focus on the family tradition of giving back.

Talk of the Town now encompasses eight restaurants in Central Florida, including Charley’s Steak House, FishBones, Johnnie’s Hideaway, Texas Cattle Company and Vito’s Chop House.  All the restaurants participate in their “Round Up for Charity” program, asking guests to round up their checks and for the month of November OCSOPAL is the chosen charity.

So, all you have do is dine at one of these fine restaurants and ask the server to “Round up for Charity”.  The Talk of the Town Foundation gathers the donations and presents OCSOPAL with a check for the total collected.

In addition to the Round up For Charity contribution, OCSOPAL is hosting a dinner at Charley’s Steak House on November 9th.  Tickets are $125.00 per person.  We will have an amazing meal and a great time with silent and live auction items all raising money for our programs.
